This is the closest thing I’ve ever seen to a real “Yellow Brick Road.” I’ll take it!
Corn stalks, pre-corn. So shiny, so verdant, so lush and thick. It’s like Kansas’ equivalent of a jungle. Just closer to the ground and less wildlife.
“What’s the big deal about hay bales??” I’ll bet there are lots of city folk who have no idea how neat big ‘ole hay bales are. I always wanted to see them up close myself. They are basically jelly roll-ups made from the earth. I still want to sit on top of one someday.
The dry ground surrounding this just seems to be crying out for the very thing itself.
Fiber optic cable system on the edge of a farmer’s field. The irony and the history.
Kansas drying system. Free, fast and efficient.
